Pentru că prea adesea, procesul de învăţământ este obstrucţionat de nevoi materiale, „tablă, burete şi cretă”, în sec. XXI, sunt instrumente insuficiente pentru formarea noilor generaţii. Lions Club Tymes 1266 şi Branch Lions Tymes 1266 se întrebau: „Ce putem face noi, cei cărora ne pasă de copiii noştri, ca ei să se simtă ACASĂ în viitorul ce le APARŢINE?” O acţiune timidă, pentru început, la Şcoala din Moraviţa, a constat din donarea a 40 de birouri, dulapuri, casetiere şi scaune, mobilier primit de Clubul Lions Tymes 1266, de la firma Nestle, prin bunăvoinţa conducerii şi în special a doamnei directoare Ramona Kovacs. The FLOWERS OF MAY ball |

Lions Tymes 1266 Club got us involved in our first mission as a branch, that of co-organizing the ”Flowers of May” charity ball whose aim was to gather funds in order to pay for the journey of 40 AIDS-infected children in the ”land of information”, a project initiated by the Metropolis of Banat.
Since the ball reached its aim, this journey became possible.
We bought 40 laptops which these children can use to navigate in the society which stigmatized them and now rejects them.
Among the remarkable guests of the ball, there was the Minister of Health, Mr. Ion Bazac.
The ”Flowers of May” ball, 2010, wll be centered round projects at least as important as those of this year's. |
